Update on Qubika journey to become Databricks #1 nearshore partner: Select Partner status achieved!

We’re excited to share some great news in our journey to become an Elite Databricks Partner. Qubika is now a Select Partner of Databricks, becoming one of only 100 Partners to achieve this recognition across the globe, and the top #1 nearshore Databricks consulting and SI (C&SI) Select Partner in Latin America. This recognition reflects the work we’ve been doing alongside our clients and the Databricks team to push the boundaries of what’s possible with data and AI.

For our clients, the real challenge today is creating Databases and AI systems that are scalable, secure, and capable of delivering real business value. That’s where we’ve focused our efforts, and this partnership with Databricks is a validation of that work.

We now have over 100 Databricks-certified professionals on our team, each with hands-on experience, from migrating legacy databases and data warehouses into more modern Delta Lakes using Databricks Lakehouses, to handling large-scale data environments and building advanced AI solutions. Our collaboration with Databricks has enabled us to deliver transformative solutions across a wide range of industry needs, leveraging multiple technical capabilities. Here’s a glimpse of what we’ve achieved and our work with our clients:

AI Agents, generative AI and RAG-based frameworks. We’ve built solutions focusing on practical applications like AI chatbots, semantic search, and agentic AI. For example, Qubika’s Finance Analyst Agent uses a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) framework to combine large language models with a client’s proprietary data to deliver tailored, actionable insights. Other proprietary Qubika agents built on Databricks, available to our clients, include an agentic solution for financial services KYC and onboarding (including features such as adaptive onboarding processes and real-time identity checks) as well as an agentic solution for risk assessment.

• Success case: For one of the world’s largest and best-known college endowment funds in the US, managing in excess of $50 billion in assets, Qubika built an LLM-integrated data platform on Databricks to revolutionize daily financial operations. The solution accelerated decision-making by providing instant insights that previously required days of manual analysis by data teams. Now, executives can ask complex financial questions, such as “What was our best-performing asset in Q3, and how has it performed over the past two quarters?”, and receive real-time, data-based answers.

Databricks migration and lakehouse implementation. We specialize in seamless Databricks migrations and lakehouse implementations, enabling organizations to unify their data and analytics frameworks

• Success case: For Avant, one of the fastest growing fintechs in the US, Qubika, migrated their formerly siloed data pipelines with limited real-time access and slow machine learning model deployments, to the Databricks lakehouse platform, resulting in a 56% increase in velocity while at the same time achieving a 60% reduction in costs related to data initiatives.

Machine learning model development and MLOps pipelines. From developing machine learning models to building robust MLOps pipelines, we empower businesses to operationalize AI at scale. Our expertise ensures that ML models are accurate and integrated into production environments.

• Success case: For a provider of customer data and marketing automation solutions tailored for financial institutions, Qubika built custom, proprietary machine learning models and pipelines. We created modular pipelines to ensure separation between data science model creation and those in production. Our initial proof of concept work for 3 production machine learning models was delivered within 6 weeks, and now forms the basis for their core service offering.

Real-time data ingestion and streaming. We enable real-time data ingestion and streaming solutions, allowing businesses to make decisions based on the most up-to-date information.

• Success case: For a well-known sponsor bank in the US, they had issues with legacy batch processes, limiting their ability for real-time insights. At the time of writing, Qubika is working on their migration to a scalable lakehouse for real-time ingestion, transformation, and analytics.

Governance, compliance, and security, such as with Databricks Unity Catalog. Data governance is a cornerstone of our work. Through Databricks Unity Catalog and other tools, we help organizations centralize governance, ensuring compliance, security, and traceability across all data assets.

• Success case: For a leading B2B enterprise sales company that is using AI and Agentic AI to improve how businesses are going to market, Qubika implemented Unity Catalog, and established a robust observability and governance framework to centralize data access, lineage, and security. By creating a single source of truth, the solution fostered alignment between engineering, data science, and business teams – improving collaboration and data-driven decision-making.

AI/BI Genie and analytics frameworks. We leverage AI/BI Genie to democratize data access and enable self-service analytics. By building scalable analytics frameworks, we empower teams to derive insights and drive decision-making without relying on IT.

• Success case: For a leading fintech we implemented AI/BI Genie to transform their data accessibility and analytics capabilities.
