Pre-summit highlights: What Qubika is bringing to the Databricks Data + AI Summit 2025

Ahead of the Databricks Data + AI Summit 2025, Qubika shares what to expect: agentic AI in finance, deep Databricks integration, and a 50% discount for our readers.

The countdown is on. The Databricks Data + AI Summit returns to San Francisco this June, and at Qubika, we’re preparing to dive deeper into a space where enterprise AI, modern data stacks, and business impact converge. From June 10–13, thousands of data and AI professionals will come together to explore the latest trends and real-world solutions—and this year, we’re not just attending, we’re presenting and showcasing the work that’s helped our clients unlock tangible results.

In the lead-up to the summit, we’re excited to offer our community a 50% discount on full conference passes using code UPGRADE2025. The Full Conference Pass gives you access to everything the summit has to offer — from keynotes and breakout sessions to networking events and on-demand content after the event. You’ll get:

  • Expo access to 150+ partners and hundreds of Databricks experts
  • 700+ breakout sessions and keynotes
  • Networking events and parties
  • Stream sessions on demand after the event

But before we head west, here’s a look at how we’re preparing, what we’ll be talking about, and why this year’s event matters more than ever.

Building momentum with Databricks

Over the past year, we’ve seen first-hand how the Databricks platform is enabling organizations to move from experimentation to production-grade AI. As a Databricks Select Partner, we’ve worked closely with the Databricks team across multiple client engagements, helping companies build secure lakehouse architectures, migrate from legacy stacks, and leverage MLflow, Unity Catalog, and Delta Lake to drive efficiency, scale, and governance.
From onboarding intelligent agents for finance to deploying self-service data products and streaming architectures, our focus has remained on delivering business-ready AI—faster. We’ve also been actively involved in the Databricks community, hosting meetups in Austin and Montevideo to spark conversation around agentic AI and share knowledge on building LangChain-powered solutions on the platform.

Databricks 2024 recap & what to expect in 2025

The 2024 Databricks Data + AI Summit was a milestone event, marked by transformative announcements across the platform. Among the most significant was the open-sourcing of Unity Catalog, making it the industry’s first open governance solution for data and AI across clouds and formats. Mosaic AI took center stage with new tools for model fine-tuning, vector search with hybrid and CMK support, and agent frameworks for building intelligent, governed systems. MLflow 2.14 introduced Tracing, bringing new depth to model performance tracking.

With these advancements as a foundation, Databricks Summit 2025 promises to dive deeper into production-grade AI, agentic systems, and democratized data intelligence—accelerating how enterprises build, deploy, and govern AI at scale.

Join our keynote: Building AI Finance Agents with Databricks and LangChain

At the upcoming conference, Sebastian Diaz, our SVP of Data + AI will be delivering a keynote, “Agentic AI in Finance: How to Build Agents Using Databricks and LangChain,”. He’ll walk attendees through a modular, real-world approach to constructing AI agents. By combining LangChain, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and the Databricks unified data platform—including Databricks MCP, Unity Catalog, MLflow, and Mosaic AI—we’re redefining what’s possible for data-driven finance.

What we’ve delivered so far

Throughout 2024, we partnered with companies across fintech, banking, and insurance to deliver results that reflect the power of the Databricks platform when paired with an agentic mindset. We helped one client reduce their time-to-insight by 56% through an accelerated migration to a lakehouse architecture. For another, we built a financial analyst agent capable of parsing unstructured data, applying internal business rules, and delivering recommendations—all within a secure, compliant environment.
We also saw growing demand for AI/BI integrations, with teams asking for personalized, real-time insights without needing to rely on engineering teams. By embedding these capabilities into their workflows, they now have greater autonomy, faster feedback loops, and data-driven cultures that actually scale.

Looking ahead

As we head into the 2025 edition, we’re expecting to see a stronger push toward agentic systems, open interoperability, and governance as a core enabler of AI transformation. We’re also seeing increased interest in frameworks and accelerators that reduce the time from idea to impact. That’s exactly what we’re bringing with Qubika’s AccelerateAI and our Agentic Factory—frameworks that help organizations implement AI and build agents that are secure, explainable, and production-ready.
